We are an independent & diverse team based in various outskirts and create audiovisual art because it is what drives us. Under the right conditions and terms, we are willing to share our gifts with interested brands, organizations, media, production companies,
distributors & artists.
Founder Niels Barrezeele, under the name Diarios Del Sur,
further developed his craft by studying film production in Mexico City, working under the mentorship and guidance of important filmmakers who do it for the love of doing it.
His shorts have been selected at various international film festivals such as New York Tri-State International Film Festival, Berlin Shorts, First-Time Filmmakers Fest, Ä°stanbul International Spring Film Festival (IISFF), and Festival Internacional de Cine Cannábico, Mexico City.
Incorporating relevant, societal topics in our work stems from that humanist mindset and (academic) background in the fields of social sciences, human rights, non-profit, and film production.
If all art is propaganda, as Orwell said, then Diarios Del Sur's propaganda is
for the betterment of humanity, rekindling the fire that many have lost.
Finding the beauty within the raw is our essence,
especially in today's reality.
